Members received the minutes of the meetings of the Executive Committee held on 24^th February and 11^th March 2014.

RESOLVED that

1)        the minutes of the meeting of the Executive Committee held on 24^th February 2014 be received and adopted; and

2)        the minutes of the meeting of the Executive Committee held on 11^th March 2014 be received and all recommendations be adopted.

To consider the Council’s Pay Policy for 2014/15.

Members considered the Council’s Pay Policy for 2014/15. This report was a requirement of the Localism Act 2011.

It was noted that around 100 staff were receiving below the Living Wage at present, but this situation would be remedied once Job Evaluation had been concluded and implemented and Officers hoped to achieve this within the next few months.

RECOMMENDED that

the Pay Policy as detailed in Appendix 1 to the report be approved.
