The Audit, Governance and Standards Committee
is responsible for looking at the Council’s external and
internal audit arrangements, internal controls, risk management,
governance arrangements and standards matters.
The Audit, Governance and Standards Committee
comprises nine Members and a Parish Co-opted member. There are
currently 5 Labour Councillors, 2 Reform UK Councillors, and 1
Councillor from The Independent Alliance represented on the
Committee as well as the Parish Council representative. There is
currently 1 vacant position
Members of the public can register to speak at
a meeting of the Audit, Governance and Standards
Committee. Members of the public who
wish to speak at a meeting of the Audit, Governance and Standards
Committee should register with the Democratic Services team by 12
noon two days prior to the meeting.
Each person who registers to speak at a meeting of the Audit,
Governance and Standards Committee will be allocated up to three
minutes to address the Committee. A
maximum time limit of 15 minutes will be allocated to public
speaking at any meeting of the Committee.
